How does Imperium Security's approach differ from traditional security companies?
Imperium Security focuses on proactive and preventative security measures. We utilize constant surveillance tactics, approaching and gathering intelligence on suspicious individuals. This approach, combined with community collaboration and technology, aims to deter criminals and prevent crime before it happens.
How does the pricing model work?
Imperium Security operates on an individual billing model with houses being billed separately for the service via direct debit. The cost is divided among the participating households and adjusted based on the number of subscribers. The more households that sign up, the lower the cost per household.
How long are we tied into a contract for?
The contract would be a 3 months probational contract with a 9-month extension. The 3 months probation will have a 30 days cancellation clause, thereafter it will be a 60 days cancellation. After the first 12 months, the second contract would be a 12-month contract. In situations of negligence, our clients would have the right to terminate with shorter notice.
Will Imperium Security install signage in the area?
Yes, Imperium Security will provide signage free of charge to all homes that want it. They will also place temporary signs on the corners of the roads during patrol hours.
Can we provide multiple phone numbers, and will you try them in order if one doesn't work?
Yes, you can provide multiple phone numbers, and we will follow a priority protocol to contact you and/or other numbers provided.
Does the patrol shift vary in hours, or is it always the same time slot?
We vary the start time by 30 minutes each way as a security measure. Typically, the 8-hour shift would start between 9:30 and 10:30 PM and end between 5:30 and 6:30 AM.
What is the data crime stopped by Imperium Security’s Residential Patrolling?
2023 saw Imperium Patrol Officers stop 8 Vehicle thefts, 3 Burglaries, 1 Bicycle Theft and countless suspicious people deterred off the streets. 2024 has seen 14 Vehicle theft stoppages and 3 home Burglary stoppages.
Do you see crime reduction results for out of hours too?
Crime within out of patrol hours, we of course cannot be responsible for. However, we have seen positive reductions in areas we patrol. In one are specifically we have seen a reduction to zero crime including out of patrol hours for the last 3 months. This can be due to the overall environment and reputation for the area.
Does the police presence decrease in areas with private security, making it harder for non-subscribers to get support?
No, we have a good relationship with the police and collaborate with them regularly. They are very supportive of our presence and often respond quickly when called. Having private security will not decrease the interest the Police will have in your area.
